Desktop Systems Specialist/DOD-Aerospace/Andover, MA (Immediate need….)GeoLogics is working with one of the hiring managers at an excellent aerospace company and they are in search of a

Desktop Systems Specialist in their Andover, MA facility. This is a 6-month contract (with possible extensions).You must be a to apply; Applicants selected will be subject to a criminal background check, credit check, and drug screen.

Hourly Rate:

$20-30/hr W2 (DOE)

You are responsible for:
  • Assist employees with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software
  • Offer daily operations and systems support to employees
  • Verify the functionality of hardware and software components
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone
  • Research questions using available information and resources
  • Follow standard Service Desk procedures
  • Log all Service Desk interactions
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates
  • Primary focus will be to take phone calls and monitor ServiceDesk related queues, providing 1st and 2nd level triage and resolution of cases.
