Job Details:

We are looking for the following:

  • Testing experience – functional & non-functional testing – minimum 4 years

  • Python & Pytest experience – minimum 2 years

  • Cloud experience (Azure or AWS – deployment & testing) – minimum 1 year

  • Test automation experience – minimum 2 years

  • Creating pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions – a big plus
The Senior Software Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for taking ownership of our internal testing framework and additionally maintain and improve its capabilities. Provide testing guidance to fellow engineers and recommend new test frameworks and tools. Verifying the successful integration testing of our Cloud platforms. Designing and developing performance tests, automated integration tests for a distributed system, executing tests, trouble-shooting defects, and working with individual development teams to resolve issues. She/he will ensure best practices are followed while being responsive in a dynamic and iterative Agile development setting

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automation tests
  • Taking ownership of customized testing framework, improve its capabilities
  • Evaluate and recommend additional test frameworks and tools for cloud testing as necessary
  • Perform full stack integration testing within our continuous integration/ continuous testing/ continuous deployment pipeline
  • Execute performance and scalability testing and obtain baseline
  • Work with individual development teams to resolve issues identified

Qualifications/Skills Required:
  • 4-year experience designing, writing and performing test automation, integration, performance and scalability testing
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge in software quality testing principles, practices, and patterns
  • Working experience with public cloud (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, etc.)
  • Experience with Python and PowerShell
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment
  • Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Qualifications/Skills Desired:
  • Experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS (App Service, Worker Roles, ServiceBus, Cloud Services)
  • Strong experience with RESTful API
  • Experience designing testing frameworks for large and complex platform service
  • Experience with Datalakes and Object Storage, InfluxDB or any time series database testing a plus
  • Experience with App Insights or any other APM a plus
  • Experience working with GitHub Actions, Containers, Dockers and Kubernetes a plus
  • Experience working with Apache Kafka a plus
  • Experience with deployment automation a plus
  • Working experience with MSTEST is a Plus
