Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer Senior in Owings Mills, MD to develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identify client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through product management and client representatives. Interact with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and software. Communicate with clients on systems application. Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and new products used in local, networked, or internet-related computer programs. Interact with product managers and users to define system requirements and necessary modifications. Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Communicate with internal client training, client relationship and sales teams on systems applications. Develop and execute project plans, budgets, and schedules, and document work and results. Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and external audiences. Design, develop, integrate, and implement technology solutions using Informatica ETL/Data Integration PL/SQL, Relational databases, Data Modelling, Shell scripting, and Python. Provide functional and technical skills to implement data extraction, transformation and loading software solutions which include database modeling, complex business logic and scheduling. Investigate, analyze, and evaluate feasibility for business and develop cost benefit estimates. Provide technical guidance to IT managers and maintaining technical expertise in multiple in- house applications. Mentor developers, analysts, and business partners on best practices using data integration technologies, Database, Shell Scripting, Python and Cloud technologies.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: performing systems design and implementation utilizing data integration for IT business solutions; working with Data Integration technologies including Informatica Power Center, Power Exchange, IDQ, Informatica Cloud, and MDM; working with relational databases including Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server; utilizing technologies including PL/SQL, AWS Technologies, Mainframes, Shell Scripting, and Python; and performing applications implementation utilizing Oracle tools and technologies, XML, and interfacing technologies. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
