Digital Graphics Designer - Government and Public Services

Static / Motion Graphics Designer We are searching for a talented digital designer to create interactive online content, graphics for video, web, environmental and print. You'll be responsible for producing content matching our GPS client's vision and marketing strategy, including social media graphics, website banners, motion design elements and print material.Reporting directly to the project's Creative Director, you will collaborate with a team of Government SMEs, videographers, copywriters, social and digital marketing strategists to conceptualize and deliver a collection of video and web content in support of a large-scale, influential marketing campaign. If you're confident in your motion graphics talent, keep up with current graphic trends, and love collaborating with other talented individuals, then this position is for you!Security clearance required.Work you'll do

Design cutting edge motion graphics using AE to bring our videos to life - some may be integrated overlays with live action, and others may be full-scale animated videos

Provide creative vision to the editing process, bringing your own style to create beautifully composed work

Create 2D and 3D animations from scratch

Work collaboratively to establish an original creative vision at the start of each project (we're not just going to hand you a pile of assets and wish you luck), to include pitching original concepts, and development of storyboards and/or treatment books

Required Skills/Qualifications:

Experience conceptualizing, creating , and animating motion graphics (Adobe After Effects experience mandatory)

Experience working directly with clients to gather requirements, pitch design concepts, iterate on content, and deliver the final product (or similar relevant experience)

Experience managing a small-to-medium-sized team of creatives

A strong sense of editorial timing and direction

History of telling compelling stories through unique creative assets and visual interactions

Ability to work out of the Washington DC area on a regular / as-needed basis

Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

Top Secret SCI Full Scope Polygraph security clearance

Experience editing video assets (Premiere preferred)

Cinema 4D, Blender, and more experience; knowledge of cutting-edge tools of the trade and a hunger to learn them.

Experience working on a Virtual Production set or sound stage

Designing and animating for 360 / immersive video content

Color correction experience

Advanced knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
