Job Description Summary: We are looking for frontend focused software engineer interns. As an intern at PayPal Credit, you will help develop technologies to allow people and businesses to easily finance their everyday purchases. It is important to us that during your internship you can grow and expand your technical skills. Youll be assigned a mentor for the length of your internship to provide one on one support. Youll also interact with leadership, engineers, and interns across PayPal and learn more about the different tools we use and develop at PayPal. This not just an internship, it is an opportunity to grow your technical skills and work on products to support our customers pressing business needs.Job Description: What youll do
  • Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to build experiences that delight our customers
  • Write clean and maintainable code in JavaScript, React, NodeJS, and GraphQL
  • Test using tools like Jest and Selenium
Who you are
  • Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree at an accredited four-year college or university
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • You can work collaboratively to build scalable software
  • Experience in frontend development (using JavaScript, HTML & CSS)
Nice to Have
  • Expecting to graduate in Fall 2021/Spring 2022
  • Experience working with React or other front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular, Vue, Svelte)
  • Open source contributions, examples of relevant projects and problem-solving approaches (a web portfolio or GitHub profile)
