Location: Linthicum, MD - Remote until travel restrictions lifted

Job description Azure/Snowflake Data Engineer

Must Have Skills/Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience in architecture & deign of Azure data platform components including Azure Event Hubs, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Databricks, Azure CosmosDB, Azure functions, Azure Kubernetes service, and Azure Stream analytics.

Minimum 5 year of hands-on coding experience in Scala or Java

Minimum 1 year of data engineering experience in building, testing, and deploying data pipelines on Azure data platform (productionized).

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in building real time streaming ETL/ELT using Spark Streaming and Kafka.

Experience with Snowflake (Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, stages, connectors, performance tuning)

Nice to Have:

Azure Data & Snowflake certifications

Exposure on ETL tools on Big Data such as Talend or Dataflow or Glue
