Scope of Work:1) Public Safety Agency is looking for a Project / Task Manager to support an implementation andintegration of a Law Enforcement Records Management System into the technology infrastructure.The candidate will be the lead project manager for the Police Agency and have responsibility formanaging the project, vendor and keeping the Steering committee informed and engaged to achievean aggressive delivery. The candidate will report directly to the Director of the InformationManagement and Technology Division. . This position requires a seasoned project manager as theProject Manager will lead the project from Contract signature through to Go Live. The Director ofInformation Management and Technology Division and the Deputy Director of RecordsManagement will be directly engaged in this effort.2) Foster partnership with customers/stakeholders/sponsors/contractors and ensure clearcommunication3) Plan, organize and manage all phases of a project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery. Thisincludes developing and managing project governance plans, scope, project schedules, risk, teamgoals and success criteria, project milestones, and budgets.4) Accountable for management of issues, risks, decisions, change, configuration, testing andproduction support handover.5) Define project schedules, allocation of resources and monitor progress6) Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects7) Lead meetings and set expectations for project team8) Maintain all project-related documentation9) Work multiple aspects of this program simultaneously. Role will be solely focused on this delivery.10) Identify, develop, and share best practices that enable the Agency to refine business processes.Provide expertise and analysis to recommend most efficient & effective way to execute11) Provide management of issue escalations for the Agency.12) Manage workload of assigned staff with respect to Project Deliverables. There are no HRresponsibilities.13) Assist with defining IT requirements, and supply specifications to include but not limited to network,system & database interface requirements.14) Provide expert oversight and analysis of performance and deliverables to include but not limited toreviews of detailed system design, requirements, and performance measurements,15) Perform & report on system & application testing including conformance to supplied specifications& requirements, troubleshooting16) Provide program management support including alternatives analysis, cost-benefit analysis,independent verification and estimation of IT costs, and independent cost allocation modelling.17) Support reporting requirements and independent verification and validation efforts with programactivities.18) Responsible for coordinating and directing the Agency’s efforts and overseeing the Contractor’sefforts under the contract and ensuring that work performed is delivered on time and within budget.19) Escalates all contractual and programmatic matters to the Steering Committee and Director ofInformation and Technology Division and Deputy Director of Records Management. Both will besteering committee members, but this role works under these positions and pre-review of steeringcommittee materials is required to assure we are bring forward needed content levels.20) Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of Contract activities, includingthose of subcontractors.21) Develops work breakdown structures, charts, tables, graphs, major milestone calendars, analyses,narratives, and diagrams to manage the activities and communicate with the stakeholders22) Produces detailed weekly status report of actual to plan, depicting successes, failures, issues, risks,and changes.23) Responsible for formation, dissemination, implementation, and enforcement of project managementand quality control standards.24) Establishes and enforces control techniques to ensure that contract activities and deliverables arescheduled and completed within time and cost constraints, and that deliverables meet their intendedfunctional requirements.Qualifications and Experience:
Ten or more years of customer-facing technology project management experience. Exceptions
to ten year requirement may be granted if there proof of experience Program/Project Managingthe implementation of an RMS system to go live, preference to Tritech Software.
Minimum of three years’ leadership experience managing technical projects of similar size and
complexity, with 30 or more stakeholders with project budgets of $1,000,000 or more
PMP certification preferred but not required if experience substitutes.
Experience with Tritech RMS Software is preferred but can be substituted with experience
implementing other RMS or CAD implementations.
Demonstrated successful, experience in the ability to determine and adhere to cost budgets.
Demonstrated experience in performing the functional responsibilities of the program
management and project management.
Detail-oriented, heavy focus on documentation and production support needs post project such
that the project delivers all that is needed to support organizations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio.
