Embedded BSP (Board Support Package) Developer - Any Visa

Responsibilities:

• Integrating and testing Linux on a new hardware platform
• Porting device drivers to the new hardware platform
• Definition of factory test requirements and development of test scripts to enable the manufacture of the board.

• BSc in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering (MSc is preferred)
• 8 or more years of experience with Linux Board Support Package (BSP) for embedded systems.
• 2 or more years of C development experience.
• 2 or more years of experience in enabling and supporting manufacturing of electronic devices using Labview or similar tools is required. This includes definition of the corresponding test requirements.
• 3 or more years of Linux driver development/patches
• At least one year experience with u-boot.
• 2 or more years of experience with build tools like make, cmake.
• 2 or more years of experience with gitlab or github for configuration management
• Must be able to support onsite lab work 1 -3 days per week in our Gaithersburg office; telework other days.
