Grants Technical SMECrownsville,MDDuration: 12+ Months Description:Grants Technical SME to perform the duties listed. This resource will coordinate with State personnel to complete the following task.

• Perform FMIS searches to support EGMS Business Analysis and Specification process.
• Document technical requirements and implementation strategies for integrations with:
• Maryland's Single Sign-On system (SecureAuth)
• Maryland's Systems - FMIS, Workday, MDOT FMIS others as identified
• Federal Systems - Grants.gov, ASAP.gov, others as identified.
• Identify and obtain technical documentation required by the Vendor implementation team
• Coordinate with the Maryland Infrastructure team as required to support efficient and effective implementation.
• Review technical documentation supplied by the vendor to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Understand the role of the system in the organizational business area’s overall business process and provide ideas and recommendations regarding the evolution of the system and any project interdependencies to consider.
• Using a variety of technical and presentation tools, produce high-level outline designs of new IT systems, and perform a buy/build/reuse analysis
• Identifies key services to expose as APIs and develop with confidence by understanding existing assets with Application Discovery and Delivery Intelligence
• Provides consumable, industry-standard APIs to these assets
• Publishes and manages these exposed APIs by leveraging OpenAPI specification support within Grants API management solution
• Prepare and deliver informative and well-organized presentations

• Must have five (5) years creating APIs and integration of APIs with other state systems in the cloud environment
• Experience with creating APIs for various integrations
• Understand file structure in Mainframe and knows FTP process

• Experience in writing flat files for data transfers to mainframes
• Experience with tools that perform the data transfer such as SFTP, AXWAY.
• Experience creating batch files and uploads to the mainframe system

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with Workday will be preferred

• Knowledge of a broad array of funds management systems such as RSTARS (State accounting system), FOCUS (reporting systems).

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or another related discipline. A Master’s degree or project management certification is preferred.
