Our client in Columbia, MD is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities of the Full Stack Developer:
  • Develop state-of-the-art systems that enhance existing commercial and in-house developed software
  • Develop RESTful services which will be hosted on AWS
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
  • Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and high-performance applications that adhere to security and data protection requirements
  • Participate in the PI Planning and SAFe Iteration ceremonies
  • Proactively plan daily development activities, estimating detail design and development efforts, and adhering to development timelines specified by the schedule

Requirements of the Full Stack Developer:
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance and residency in the United States at least three 3 out of the last five 5 years
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5 or more years of experience developing RESTful services, using NodeJS or J2EE
  • 2 or more years of experience with Angular 7 or higher, with excellent debug skills
  • 4 or more years of experience with JavaScript and JavaScript related utilities
  • 4 or more years of experience with distributed version control systems such as GitLab/GitHub/BitBucket
  • 3 or more years of experience with Spring Boot, developing and deploying in serverless environments
  • 2 or more years of experience with Google Analytics with Tealium iQ Tag Manager
  • Experience designing, developing, testing, and integrating microservices into large applications
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience with JIRA, managing JIRA tickets and Agile sprints and backlog updates
  • Experience with Relational databases (Mysql, Postgres, etc.) and related caching APIs (Redis, Varnish)
  • Experience with build/SCM tools such as Maven, ANT, NPM
