NPosition Type ManagementJOB SUMMARYAs a senior member of the Enterprise Product team, the Vice President, Centralized Reservations and Revenue Management Technology Products will manage a portfolio of technologies that support key business capabilities in Reservations and Revenue Management. This includes the migration to a new reservations platform as Marriott builds out new technology to deliver new experiences for the future of travel.The VP will also lead efforts to ensure effective planning and readiness of associates globally for the deployment of new technologies and will provide management oversight for Enterprise Product cross-product roadmap alignment and management.The VP will drive the technology vision for the portfolio ensuring alignment with overall business objectives, KPIs and financial targets. They will ensure overall portfolio roadmap alignment and prioritization so that the work of product teams focuses on development and enhancement of capabilities with maximum value that aligns with the overall business strategy They will guide leadership level alignment for own portfolio technology strategy as well as broader technology landscapeThe VP is a thought leader in evolving and modernizing the broader technology landscape, a catalyst for innovation and new thinking, and a developer and leader of people, across direct reports, cross-functional, matrixed teams, contract resources, and key software partners. They bring strong product-oriented thinking combined with a relentless focus on the end user. They are a seasoned storyteller and evangelist, communicating the need for data-driven decision making, prioritization and execution of key strategies needed to optimize product portfolio performance aligned with strategic objectives.CANDIDATE PROFILEEducation and Required Experience4-year degree from an accredited university, preferably in a technology or business discipline.

15+ years, with 5 or more at VP level, in technology, product management and/or business consulting, demonstrating progressive career growth and patterns of exceptional performance.

Significant experience and success in implementing new business applications with complex technology integration and business process change on time, on budget, and with high client satisfaction.

Direct management of cross functional, sourced and matrixed teams.

Direct management of complex budgets in excess of $40M in direct and indirect costs.

Demonstrated ability to assess end user/customer needs, creatively approach solutions, and decide and influence appropriate course of action.

Executive level communications skills with sensitivity to global workforce, customer and communication needs.

Demonstrated strong presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills with experience building business cases to drive investment and resource decisions.

Ability to solve problems quickly and think creatively.

Thrives in a fast-paced, customer driven environment.

Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.

Dynamic interpersonal skills including team player that works well with counterparts from various functions/departments and has the ability to influence the work of counterparts without direct reporting accountability.

Refine and improve data/insights to deepen understanding of end user behavior, product adoption, and optimization opportunities.

Identify and facilitate key partnerships and business opportunities that will enhance portfolio capabilities.

Align product strategies with Continent needs, ensuring we solve for global and local nuances where appropriate.

Provide strategic insights and recommendations to, and partner with continent leaders to drive/fully leverage global capabilities.

Establish and analyze key metrics to help make product decisions.

Help to develop and communicate comprehensive dashboards with KPI’s aligned to team, Enterprise Product, Technology-wide, Consumer Operations and Company goals.

Ensure portfolio roadmap alignment at the “epic” and “sprint” level with business strategy, objectives and financial targets.

Ensure optimum level of demand management and capacity planning across the portfolio’s people, process and technology as the owner of its KPIs inclusive of business and financial metrics of performance.

Understand and champion efforts across the broader technology landscape to help reduce redundant efforts and identify opportunities during design to ensure capabilities are built with optimally.

Effectively presents portfolio opportunities in senior leadership discussions/funding decisions.

Engages with Contract Management & Sourcing Governance and Vendor Management to develop service agreements with external companies.

Maintains high performance levels by attracting, developing and retaining talent, managing performance, building career paths, and aligning performance and rewards to company goals.

Actively drives adoption of Technology operating model changes.

Champion excellence in business ethics and integrity, social responsibility, cross-cultural effectiveness, and associate engagement.
