Job Description:

Leidos has an immediate need for an MDE tools Administrator to support the development and validation environments hosting internal agency applications in support of an enterprise wide Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environment. Leidos provides support for infrastructure tasks and initiatives for Web Support and Application Support activities. This includes Infrastructure, System Administration, and Agile Development roles supporting a wide range of technologies in environments that continue to grow and evolve rapidly with new products and techniques introduced regularly and changing priorities.

The candidate will be collocated with the SSA government employees and subcontractors at a government facility in Baltimore, Maryland. The candidate must be able to pass a Federal Suitability Check for a position of public trust.

This position may require occasional off hours support during operating system/software upgrades and patches.

Required Skills
  • Working knowledge of MDE CI/CD Tools (Jira, Confluence, Nexus, Maven, Jenkins, MatterMost, OpenShift, VersionOne, SonarQube, BitBucket, Black Duck, Checkmarx) is a must
  • Experience in administering MDE CI/CD Tools (Jira, Confluence, Nexus, Maven, Jenkins, MatterMost, OpenShift, VersionOne, SonarQube, BitBucket, Black Duck, Checkmarx)
  • Understand all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, Configuration Management, quality assurance, and release management.
  • Experience with Red Hat Linux 7, Ansible, Ansible Tower, UrbanCode Deploy a plus

Day to Day Activities

Maintain the health of MDE tools. This includes monitoring availability and performance levels. Candidate will perform technical support resolving problem tickets. Candidate will maintain current version levels of existing and new product/tools. This will include installing, configuring and testing tools then deploying upgraded versions. Candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert on selected tools. The candidate will be responsible for nurturing the tool(s), ensuring each performs at optimum levels in the CI/CD pipeline environment. Candidate makes recommendations to the MDE team on improvements to the CI/CD pipeline.
