- Participate in collaborative reviews of requirements/design when requested.
- Ensure clarity of expectations, in regards to both what activities will be completed and when they are to be completed. Escalate concerns timely and appropriately when expectations will not be met.
- Develop solutions in expected timeframes and to the standards of the team - coding, configuration, versioning, documentation.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Value simple and clean code over clever or complex code.

- Work independently and escalate only when necessary and after appropriate due diligence has been done.
- Isolate complex problems using internal and external tools.
- Resolve application design and logic errors focusing on the right way to solve the problem, not just the easiest or most convenient.

- Research error conditions with integrated application(s) and provide direction or design solutions that will correct this issue.
- Design and develop verification techniques (e.g., report writers, file dumps, logs).
- Adequately execute development testing including new code, regression, edge cases, and exception scenarios.
- Develop unit tests and controlled unit test data.
- Participate in integrated application testing.
- Collaborating with QA and UAT for testing of efforts.
- Participate in performance testing of solutions.
- Complete appropriate release documentation/artifacts and collaborate with Release Management for the release of applications into higher environments including production.
- Creating and updating all appropriate documentation for design, application, testing, and deployment.
- Documentation should be clear and concise and written so that the consumer of the documentation (not you) can successfully read, understand, and apply it.
- Knowledge of programming languages required for this position.
- Knowledge of the windows operating environment.
