IATESTA STUDIO is a home furniture and lighting manufacturer located in Stevensville, Maryland 10 minutes outside of Annapolis. Our team of talented Craftspeople and Artisans create beautiful products that are handmade in the USA and sold to top interior designers throughout the world. We are currently hiring for multiple positions seeking Full-Time Woodworkers, Sanders, Craftspeople, Artisans, Painters, and Wood and Metal Finishers to join our growing team.

Whether you are just beginning your career or you are already an experienced Artisan, we have plenty of opportunities to grow and succeed. Our most successful applicants have interests and/or backgrounds in wood working, re-purposing furniture, shop projects, metal working, electrical work, utilizing tools and equipment, art, painting, faux finishing, airbrushing, illustrating, photography, or other creative outlets.

As an entry-level Junior Artisan, you will learn the ins-and-outs of the manufacture of furniture and lighting including sanding furniture, applying base coats of paint and stain, wiring light fixtures, attaching crystal to chandeliers, and wiring and testing chandeliers and lamps. Our training program combined with your ambition, hard work, and desire to excel may lead to long-term career opportunities as a Senior Artisan.

For those applicants with relevant skills and experience, we are hiring for more senior level positions as well.Here are examples of tasks our team members do each day:

- hand sanding and orbital sanding on wood furniture

- wire brushing and distressing wood furniture

- drilling and installing furniture hardware

- waxing and assembling furniture

- staining and painting wood and metal furniture and lighting

- glaze and toning using paints and stains

- sponging, dry brushing, and glazing painted pieces

- wiring and testing chandeliers, lanterns, and lamps

- attaching crystal to chandeliers

- gilding with gold and silver leaf

- spraying primer and lacquerAll applicants must have these abilities and skills to be successful:

- Attention to detail

- Responsible, self-motivated, and reliable

- Have a good attitude and positive vibes

- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance on a regular basis, and more with the assistance of others

- Available to work FULL-TIME 7am - 3:45pm Monday thru Friday. Our Artisans enjoy getting off work at 3:45!
