ROLE SUMMARYThe Medical Excellence Project Manager will provide strategic global operational project management support to Medical Excellence & Content team, Medical Affairs colleagues and the broader Rare Disease Medical Affairs (RDMA) Leadership Team. The Medical Excellence Project Manager provides significant day-to-day project management direction and contributions to RDMA medical objectives including but not limited to meeting management, financial management, communications, & content operationsROLE RESPONSIBILITIESMeeting Management :

Leads the development and execution (end to end) of large-scale Leadership Off-Site meetings (e.g., Extended LT Meetings and RDMA Leadership Team Off-Sites) including agenda content and slide development, coordinating the creation of the sessions ensuring a cohesive theme from a content perspective, liaising with any external vendors/guests, and coordination with Meeting Planning Group for logistics management.

Leads and coordinates regular standing colleague meetings live or virtual including agenda development, slide presentation/creation, guest invitations and coordination, documenting and follow-up of meeting minutes and actions.

Leads congress logistically management for RDMA, supporting colleague housing, meeting management, KOL scheduling and management, exhibit booth logistic support, liaising with any external vendors

Oversees HCP engagement contracting management through compliance channels (Eg. ENGAGEPlus & MAPP Navigator)

Financial Management:

Is the single point-of-contact and accountable person to Budget Lead, Content & Education Directors, Medical Excellence Strategic Partners, and broader RDMA leadership on POD/financial project management tool. Manages collection and validation of op plan matrix into financial platform

Creates a variety of data and financial analyses from POD representing important business perspectives that are needed to aid in Senior Leader evaluation and decision-making. Develops relevant visuals (charts, graphs) for the financial slides in the RDMA Operating Plan.

Create advanced-level professional slides that clearly and effectively convey a cohesive story for the RDMA Operating Plan, including any supporting documentation needed.

Responsible, with minimal oversight, for all aspects related to financial set-up, approval, and management of financial projects (e.g., Purchase Orders & Vendor Remittance) in support of RDMA projects.

Act as a single point of contact for issue resolution related to management of vendor-related purchase orders including creation of new vendors, resolution of invoice payment delays and duplications

Project Management for Special Projects:

Proactively lead the management of cross-functional projects/ initiatives, including development of a project plan to help organize activities and track deliverables, ensuring timelines are being met, appropriate stakeholders are engaged, and updates are being communicated.

Track, collect and report out on metrics related to key initiatives or for the organization.

Provide data analysis support and subsequent professional slide/presentation development to any variety of projects or initiatives

Ensures effective, accurate and timely communication of project status (e.g., agendas, meeting minutes, and presentations) to meet the needs of the team.

Designs, recommends, and implements new processes, approaches, tools, and/or job aids to manage team needs.

RDMA Communications & M edical Content Operations:

Manages RDMA communications & content calendar for internal/external engagements, community activities and congresses, overseeing execution of comms campaigns

Supports the execution of the RDMA Communications strategy which includes use of existing tools such as newsletters, sharepoint, multi-media and videos

Solicit and collect content

Develop and author content

Organize and collate in the appropriate format

Distribute via the optimal channels, (sharepoint, Yammer, social media etc.)

Supports the system management of RDMA medical content materials through external systems, channels, and social media platforms (eg. mGCMA, Pfizer Medical Twitter/LinkedIn)

Oversees development & maintenance of all non-scientific onboarding materials/activities for RDMA organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of project management experience

Strong technical skills including experience/knowledge of advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and underlying financial systems (e.g. SAP, Business Objects)

Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Well-organized, analytical, self-motivated individual with strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to anticipate needs, prioritize responsibilities, manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent attention to detail to ensure work is thorough and accurate

Ability to demonstrate flexibility in dealing with change and diversity.

General business management experience

Language skills: Fluency in English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Advanced degree preferred

PMP certification preferred

Knowledge of Pfizer financial reporting (POD, PAL, Ariba) and project management systems (JIRA, MIRA, Decideware etc)

Knowledge of medical & medical content systems (ENGAGEPlus, MAPP Navigator, mGCMA) & content creation softwares

Proven ability to cultivate relationships of trust and credibility with colleagues internal and external to the RDMA team and to be seen as a partner with deep understanding of financial processes and project management.

In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
