- Provide Data/BI Solution Architecture and BI roadmaps to enable smarter data preparation.
- Oversee and guide the design, development, and implementation of data warehousing, big data, and data management for enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Provide training and coaching to BI / data management team members on best practices.
- Complete high-level design, development, documentation, and testing of solutions.
- Assist in the integration efforts for merging BI platforms with enterprise systems and applications.
- Assist in the design of databases and data repositories to ensure interoperability with BI solutions.
- Review, create, monitor and consult on ETL processes.
- Troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software; performance-tune these applications as necessary,
- Create SFTP processes to automate data retrieval and delivery.
- Experience with a data governance framework to support data management, data architecture and data quality.
- 5+ years’ experience with BI Stack (T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Tableau) to deliver advanced BI and Data solutions.
- Prior experience with data architectures such as data warehouses, data modeling, data mining, ETL, and in-memory models, as well as experience in data stores that support data science.
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical terms.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the highest level of quality in developing solutions.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically.
- Experience with Tableau preferred.
- Ability to head-up and manage projects with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, customer-oriented team.
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
