Just look up.Are you ready to go beyond?Key Responsibilities: Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Associate Procurement Director for the Supply Chain Manager for the Raw Materials, Structural Casting Group. Below are responsibilities, but not limited to:Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to build efficient working relationships across the many P&W functional groups; Supply Chain, Quality, Materials, Continuous Improvement, Production Readiness, Engineering, MCL, ESA, Global Work Share (GWS) and multiple suppliers.

Lead a matrixed team of direct report Account Specialists, with a co-located support group from Quality, Materials, Planning, Manufacturing Engineering with full support from the PIPT to deliver quality components on-time at target cost.

Provide leadership and engage employees in the business through use of the ACE Operating System. This includes leading selected ACE elements that will guide / lead the Fasteners and Seals Team to ACE Gold.

Develop and execute Supplier Gold Strategy for hardware in your value stream.

Develop a delivery assurance plan aligned with 6 Pack, xRM, Supplier Delivery & Quality Clinics and Delivery Gated Review Process, which ensures the long term business delivery performance objectives are achieved.

Maintain the Supplier Relationship strategy.

Develop and execute staffing plans to support the long term sourcing strategy.

Ensure Export Control Compliance.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree with a concentration in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience or equivalent experience and 10+ years prior relevant Operations and/or Supply Chain experience ORAdvanced Degree in a related field and 8+years prior relevant Operations and/or Supply Chain experience.

Up to 25% travel annually.

US Citizenship required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work in a challenging environment.

Able to provide a high level of customer focus while meeting business objectives.

Strong communication skills, specifically conversational, email, and telephone skills.

Customer service is a must by providing timely and accurate updates via the most desired communication means.
