Canvass Organizers Needed! (Portland, Augusta, Lewiston, Bangor)

Revolution Field Strategies is seeking multiple highly responsible candidates to assume the role of Canvass Organizer in the state of Maine. This individual will report directly to the Field Director and Project Director, and will be tasked with assisting them with the management, training, and organizing of our field teams. The Organizer is responsible for monitoring and reporting the actions of canvassers on turf and providing guidance and assistance to them to guarantee their success.

Job Responsibilities:

Assisting canvassers as they encounter technical or logistical difficulty in the field;

Positive, helpful attitude and strong work ethic

Meet and exceed goals for program performance; and,

Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong communication and motivational skills;

Clean driving record with valid driver’s license;

Computer literacy and proven organizational skills

Proven ability to work among a diverse team; and,

Ability to work at least full-time through the length of the program.

Training:

Canvass Organizers will receive extensive training and support from their Canvass Directors and other campaign leadership.

Expectations:

Potential campaign staff will be expected to work campaign hours, up to 80 hours per week, leading up to the end of the program.

Salary/Benefits:

Commensurate based on experience.
