Jordan’s Furniture is excited to announce that we will be opening a store location in South Portland, Maine in July of 2020! Our South Portland Maine store will be the largest furniture store in Maine, displaying furniture and mattresses, along with an extensive outlet center. The retail store, located in the Maine Mall (formerly Filene's and Bon-Ton's), will also include an entertainment amazing Ropes Course attraction, like all of the other Jordan’s locations.

Warehouse Assistants load and unload furniture, and handle the movement of furniture throughout our operation and receive incoming shipments into the storage racks. Other duties include, assembling and placement of display new furniture for the showroom floor, and prepare and load purchased furniture into customers’ vehicles while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include:

-Provides courteous and professional customer service to guests picking up furniture. Uses the computer to confirm orders and process the pick-up.

-Operates crown lift to move furniture. Uses and maintains hand tools to assemble furniture.

-Assists design team with set up or removal of furniture on showroom floor.

Position starts at $15.00 per hour! Part and Full time warehouse positions available.

Requirements include:

-Must be 18 years or older

-Ability to solely and safely lift and move materials up to 110 lbs.

-Ability to operate machinery up to heights of 40 feet

-Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner

-Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new programs
