Banded Brewing Seeking Line Cook

Banded Brewing Co. is looking for a cook to join our kitchen team.

Opened in 2013, Banded Brewing is Biddeford, Maine's first brewery. In addition to offering a wide selection of craft beer brewed on-site, we have a menu of approachable, pub-style food with a focus on high-quality, local ingredients. If you are passionate about good food, building community, and working closely with a like-minded team; we’d love to meet you! Evening and Sunday availability is a must, but we have flexibility when it comes to working full or part-time hours.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

Open and close the kitchen

Cook food during service to established quality standards

Maintain a safe and clean work station

Work with management to ensure that guest experiences meet our high expectations

Assist with prep-cooking, as needed

Key Skills & Qualifications:

2+ years experience in food prep and culinary field

Exceptional communication skills with both customers and coworkers

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Positive, ambitious, and driven

Availability including nights and weekends

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Must be of legal drinking age (21+)

Hours & Compensation:

Full-time (30-40 hrs/wk) and part-time (20-30 hrs/wk) positions available

Starting pay rate is $18.00+/hour (negotiable, DOE)
