Oversees and instructs others in electrical repair. Performs a variety of general and planned maintenance duties such as: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, painting, and grounds maintenance.Responsibilities:
Meets with department managers, staff, vendors or patients in an effort to determine the best methods of accommodating the needs of all.
Performs appropriate trouble shooting and repairs of Life Safety Systems.
Performs appropriate trouble shooting and repairs of motor starter contacts and associated circuitry.
Performs appropriate trouble shooting and repairs of lights, switches, outlets, and wiring.
Performs appropriate trouble shooting and repairs of nurse call, P.A., and alarms systems.
Performs appropriate trouble shooting and repairs.
Modifies and installs new circuits, lights, switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and associated equipment as needed.
Performs mechanical and maintenance tasks appropriate for supporting all customers.
Performs appropriate carpentry and plumbing repairs.
Makes daily rounds in an effort to locate/repair problems in an effort to avoid equipment failures.
Document repairs made in the Equipment Management Program appropriately.
Keeps all required testing of systems and equipment within area of responsibility up-to-date.
Keeps up-to-date on state and federal code changes.
