Data Analyst - Big Data / ETL

Location: Augusta, ME Description: Our client is currently seeking a Data Analyst - Big Data / ETL

• Selecting and integrating any Big Data tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities
• Implementing ETL process
• Monitoring performance and advising any necessary infrastructure changes
• Defining data retention policies
• Responsible for engaging and updating all stakeholder of process changes and impacts
• Processing applications, assigning resources, progressing SAP tasks, providing external follow-up.
• Coordinate information technology needs, including security access, hardware and software needs, as well as training requirements

• Experience with major system conversions and/or data transfers
• Strong understanding of business processes, decision tree workflow
• Skilled in extracting, manipulating, and mapping large data files using various platforms (i.e. Excel, Access, etc.)
• Post-secondary education in Business Administration complemented by three or more years' direct experience managing operations and providing executive support.
• Background in systems, data, procurement.
• Able to handle large amounts of data.
