Shreveport, LA is hiring Lab Technicians. As an

Senior Level L

ab Technician you will be responsible for a wide range of laboratory tasks including receiving, prepping, and analyzing samples for waste oil and solvent solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Sample preparation and analysis for used oil. Analytical methods may include flash point, viscosity, density measurement, pH, Karl Fisher water analysis, and VOC and HVOC analysis;
• Input of data from analysis into lab information system database. Completion of all logs and records related to analysis for traceability.

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen?

• High school diploma or GED required;
• Lab experience required;
• 2+ years' experience in the field of chemical analysis preferred;
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or natural science preferred.
