Type of Requisition: RegularClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: NonePublic Trust/Other Required: NoneJob Family: Program ManagementGDIT is seeking a Cloud Program Analyst, Advisor who will be managing the cost reporting and forecasting for a large cloud enterprise multi-year/ multi-million-dollar contract. The primary task for this role is creating the highly communicative Estimate at Completion (EAC) file deliverable that provide customers and leadership with the usage, monthly billing and funding utilization for the CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid) customer.The Cloud Program Analyst, Advisor will support the CMS Cloud team in delivering highly communicative and financial reports that provide customers with their usage, monthly billing and funding utilization. Candidates must be able to communicate well with their customers throughout their Cloud journey.In this role you may also measure, monitor, and analyze the usage of our Cloud customers and make recommendations for cost optimization; including purchasing Reserved Instances and Savings Plans. Successful candidates are eager to take the initiative on a very large Cloud resell program where optimization and attention to detail is crucial.We are GDIT. Offering the technology transformations, strategy, and mission services needed to get the job done.In this role, a typical day will include:Assisting coworkers with collecting and reviewing financial data from various Cloud sources. (i.e. Cloudtamer, Cloud Checkr, Cloud native cost management tools).

Performing technical analysis to help Business Owners determine the impact of cloud adoption.

Define the total cost of ownership and business value for moving to the Cloud.

Creates, maintains, updates financial deliverable via Microsoft excel.

Analyzes customer cloud requirements and may provide technical knowledge on cloud computing techniques and technologies of low- moderate complexity.

Research, evaluate, and deploy cloud computing optimization techniques.

Assists with the management of the AWS master payer account with 600+ linked accounts.

AWS & MAG Cost analysis using deep understanding of Cost usage reports - writing SQL queries in AWS (Athena) to customize reports is a plus.

Participates in special projects as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

8 years relevant experience in Program or Financial Management.

Understanding financial operations (FinOps) of Cloud optimization and utilization (AWS preferred).

US Citizenship is required to be considered for this position.

DESIRED SKILLS:Cloud optimization expertise in AWS and Azure is a plus.

Understanding of Cloud Technologies.

Analytic/ queries understanding for cloud billing.
