Machine Operator

Description:Machine operators will be operating either an extrusion or thermoforming machine, making and producing Styrofoam and plastic for takeout trays. The machine operator manages product flow on the equipment, monitors operation, makes operating adjustments, and verifies product quality and equipment operating conditions to assure conformance to company specifications. This is not a climate-controlled facility - HOT environment! Hotter in the summer days and cold in the winter.Responsibilities:

Operating either an extrusion or thermoforming machine

Continually monitor and control the machine performance and settings

Maintain and monitor the machine to make sure all product is running correctly and up to company standards

Conduct regular quality control on parts

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Good mechanical aptitude

5+ years of machine operating experience

Direct experience with either extrusion or thermoforming machines is a plus but not required

Overhead crane operation experience

Must be able to deal with heat in the summer and cold in the winter

Shift:

Day shift: 8:00am-8:00pm.

2-2-3 shift (will work every other weekend)

Night Shift- 8:00pm-8:00am

2-2-3 shift (will work every other weekend)
