This is a brand new opening on our Automation team, and we're looking to add a Controls Engineer who can design control systems by understanding the customer requirements which will automate manufacturing processes. Job Details

We are seeking a Permanent Automation Specialist/ Controls Engineer with experience in Rockwell Studio 5000, Schneider EcoStruxure, Control Expert (Unity Pro)/Vijeo Designer, VTSCADA, Automation Direct Productivity Suite and DirectSoft, Schneider SCADAPack. As an Automation Specialist/ Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems that drive productivity and efficiency in our Water/Wastewater Industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation systems that improve productivity, quality, and safety in our engineering industry.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation systems that meet customer requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to automation systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies related to automation systems.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
  • Lead and/or participate in projects related to automation systems.
  • Develop and deliver training to internal and external customers on automation systems.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems.
  • Experience with Rockwell Studio 5000, Schneider EcoStruxure, Control Expert (Unity Pro)/Vijeo Designer, VTSCADA, Automation Direct Productivity Suite and DirectSoft, Schneider SCADAPack,
  • Experience in the Water/Wastewater Industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
