Analyst is responsible for providing IT end user support for Facility Services & Property Oversight. This includes support for all things related to desktops\laptops, hardware\software, and mobile devices. User base consist of executives, engineers, architects, office, and personnel with minimal IT knowledge. Facility Services is a 24x7 operation with evening and weekend staff. Support for these groups sometimes require adjustment of work schedule to support their needs. Analyst will also function as a backup for System Administrator.
Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000 Job Duties:End User Software\Hardware Support 70%: - Responsible for managing, prioritizing, and resolving end user work orders submitted via FAMIS work order management system for desktop support requests and issues.
- Troubleshoot\Resolve OS and software application issues.
- Troubleshoot\Resolve hardware issues.
- PC and IT equipment installations\replacements.
- PC imaging, patching\updates, application deployment, etc. via automated tools.
- Documentation of processes and procedures.
- Coordinate Hardware Warranty Support with Vendors.
- Make enhancement recommendations based on observations of end user needs and the desktop\mobile environments.
- Maintain Dell Tech Certification.
Project Support and Secondary duties 15%:- Support projects and LSU ITS initiatives as they come about.
- Work with System Administrator to enhance WDS Image creation and deployment.
- Backup for System Administrator.
Inventory Management 10%:- Perform yearly asset inventory.
- Wipe data bearing assets.
- Manage tagging of New Assets.
- Manage FAMIS asset inventory.
- Coordinate Surplus pick up of old assets with Property Management.
