The RoleThe Data Delivery Team Leader is responsible for managing a team of colleagues within the Data Management Team (DMT) who are focused on delivering data conversion and retiree payroll support for our Pension administration clients. This individual will partner with Pension Outsourcing client delivery teams to execute on the maintenance, configuration, development, and testing of the application as they relate to data conversion and retiree payroll activities. They will also consult with clients and ongoing administration teams on our technical standards, best practices, and if needed, custom/client specific solution designs.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with delivery leads to define and prioritize client delivery support for data related activities including:

Understanding the full scope and budget of data deliverables

Track, monitor, and report on the team’s progress and performance against the scope, schedule, and budget for data deliverables

Consulting through client requests and troubleshooting client delivery issues

Partner with the Pension Data Services Manager to ensure deliverables across the data delivery team are understood, planned for and are clearly communicated to stakeholders

Manage cross-client deliverables for the team, ensuring all deliverables for the team are communicated, coordinated, and met per agreed upon project timelines

Provide oversight to the data team leads, ensuring the status of work items is clearly communicated with the Pension Data Services Manager and client delivery teams with risks clearly identified in the communication.

Provide leadership, subject matter expertise, and consulting internally and externally to support the needs of our clients and enforce Willis Towers Watson business standards, including valuation extract, retiree payroll, and data conversion activities for implementation and ongoing delivery

Engage in new client work to ensure accurate costing and considerations. Work closely with client delivery teams to ensure project requirements/requests for changes are understood and within standards

Lead the development of process standards to increase quality, improve automation and process efficiencies, and reduce conversion effort

Execute client and team deliverables, as needed, to support the team, project billable work and milestones

Responsible for all personnel management of data delivery team including: engaging, developing, and retaining colleagues through effective management practices

Note: Employment-based non-immigrant visa sponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this specific job opportunity.The Requirements7+ years’ industry experience working with data or equivalent work experience (e.g., data conversions, data import, data export, data mapping tools, data reporting, payroll, HRIS)

2+ years of direct management and leadership experience

Demonstrated success in managing workflow, delegation, project management and resource management required to meet budgets and timelines

Ability and desire to promote professional development of associates

Ability to work on a multifaceted team (administration, technology and service center) with competing projects, deliverables and priorities, including client implementations and special project work

Working with global teams is preferred

Passion for and commitment to continuous improvement and identifying new solutions

Strong interpersonal and client management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels and roles

Strong analytical, integrative and problem solving skills

Understanding of the fundamentals of Pension administration is preferred

Experience with relational databases (SQL Server) and ETL tools is preferred

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, management information systems, benefits administration or related field. Master’s degrees is a plus

Ability to travel and work extended hours as needed
