Job Title:Barge Receiving Supervisor- Ama, LADepartment/Function:OperationsJob Description:Barge Receiving Supervisor – Ama, LAADM OriginationThis is an exempt level position.Primary Responsibilities

Weigh and bin grain barges and rail cars by commodity and quality.

Responsible for updating and verifying stock accuracy in inventory system.

Order and release barges and trains.

Coordinate with Shift Supervisor and Outside Supervisor to develop a safe and efficient daily work plan

Qualifications:To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

High school diploma or equivalent

Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures

Exhibit regular and timely attendance

Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc), lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, shovel material and operate a vacuum

Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed

Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed

Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude

General computer knowledge (familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word & web based skills)

Excellent oral/interpersonal skills

Leadership characteristics, able to motivate others and demonstrate team building skills

Proactive involvement in safety

Strong organization and documentation skills
