DescriptionThe Senior Technology Leadership Professional is responsible for all aspects of software or hardware product delivery and performance. The Senior Technology Leadership Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Technology Leadership Professional works with the engineering team of the BI Platforms. This individual will oversee the engineering, upgrades, renewals, licensing, vendor engagements, and user support for BI platforms and tools such as Qlik, Tableau, SSRS, OBIEE, Alteryx.Responsibilities Include:Works closely with business users and understanding of use cases
Supports product evaluation and qualification on leading edge technology components
Ensures that production schedules are followed and product(s) meet specifications and quality requirements
Creating environment strategy for platform
Disaster Recovery: plan creation/maintenance/testing/execution
Cloud and SaaS strategy and migration planning
Platform troubleshooting/vendor support interaction
Managing upgrades for both the platforms and underlying hardware
Software renewals and license management
Budget, allocations, resource and project planning
Communication plans to support strategies
Archiving and decommissioning strategies for identified platforms
Required QualificationsExpertise in BI Platforms Qlik Sense, QlikView, and Tableau to include knowledge of how to leverage APIs on the common Business Intelligence Platforms
8 years of related IT experience
Working knowledge of the technical aspects of SaaS and PaaS-based solutions
Working knowledge of Design Patterns and Reference Architectures
Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices and common tool kits used as a part of DevOps
Demonstrated ability running large scale projects
Experience with technology solutions assessments and/or strategy planning oversight
Data loss prevention and data security knowledge and experience
Incident and problem management experience
Preferred QualificationsExperience with OBIEE, SSRS, and Alteryx platform administration
SQL/Oracle/data source query knowledge
Windows environment administration knowledge
ServiceNow (Incident module & time keeping) experience
Additional InformationWork-At-Home RequirementsMust have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
