RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Louisville, KY that is seeking a Business Analyst.

Summary:The Business Analyst will communicate with business and IT teams to formulate a strategy that aligns with the needs of the organization. They will provide a detailed requirements analysis and document the process and standards. The Business Analyst will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. Knowledge of the software development concept and life cycle will be important for this role.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Determine requirements for IT deliverables and objectives, ensuring that the solutions meet business needs and requirements Business Analysts study business functions and gather information to evaluate output requirements and system capabilities Document and define the general process and standards per process to develop organization strategies Facilitate team collaboration and perform requirements analysis for future strategic projects As a Business Analyst, you will lead ongoing reviews of current and future business processes to develop optimization strategies Effectively communicating your insights, plans and outcome to cross-functional team members and management

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role Ability to impact operations and effect changes in IT and business processes Solutions oriented, detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive Ability to work independently and with others on the team Extremely organized with strong time-management skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Ability to prioritize the team activity with your own activities Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook A track record of following through on commitments Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills Experience leading and developing top-performing teams

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Business or equivalent field Exposure to the healthcare industry, knowledge of Medicare Risk Adjustment process and EDI
