Java Software Engineer

Jo this is your opportunity to· Collaborate with technologists at customer side to understand overall solution for integrating Portal and CS applications with core Claims platform (HR Payor), define the scope of work for UST’s offshore team aligning with customer priorities· Collaborate with Architect team to solution API Services for customers various member / provider service functions· Work with customer stakeholders / Scrum Master to plan out the Sprint activities for offshore development team based on customer priority· Mentor offshore development team and help to remove roadblocks impacting team’s progress by working closely with customer and internal stakeholders· Liaise for any changes to core admin system (HR Payor) that are required to fulfil the member / provider services solution· Report progress to customer on daily / weekly basis as deemed necessary· Closely work with customer stakeholders to continuously look out for opportunities where can add value and work on proposals for those additional opportunities· Facilitate getting the work done and take things to closure by meeting Definition of Done· Facilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution.· Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.· Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example You bring:• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience• 10+ years of overall IT experience in different capacities• 5+ years of hands-on experience leading technology projects especially platforms integration projects For this role, we value:• The ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment• Excellent written and oral communication skills• The ability to understand speak technology• Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies• Ability to gel with the team well and build a self-organized and highly energetic team Overall Experience level: 10+ years in IT with min 5+ 5+ years of hands-on experience leading technology projects especially platforms integration projects Location: This position will be based in Louisville, KY, USA.
