- Provide primary support and management of the IT server infrastructure and hosted systems
- Support second-tier technical staff with the resolution of more complex issues related to software tools, applications, databases, and system access
- Analyze and resolve hardware and software problems for end users, with primary emphasis on server-related issues
- Provide troubleshooting support for IT staff
- Recommend hardware and software solutions to meet end user and IT needs
- Support Cyber Security compliance and audit preparation in coordination with the Cyber Security Team
- Provisioning SAN storage, SAN administration, performance tuning, monitoring and management
- Provide level 3 systems troubleshooting & problem resolution
- Storage capacity planning
- Managing backup solution
- Planning and implementing software and firmware upgrades
- Manage capacity upgrades
- Provide primary support for infrastructure systems
- Applications deployments and migration activities
- Server monitoring
- Address security concerns
- Active Directory implementation, administration, and maintenance activities
- Address infrastructure needs
- Virtualization activities - creation, migration, administration, and maintenance
- BS and 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Additional experience may be substituted for a Degree.
- Solid experience with Microsoft applications in a VMware virtual environment
- Strong experience in implementing and troubleshooting vCenter and Virtual Machines
- Strong experience in implementing and troubleshooting Virtual Networking configurations as well as Distributed Virtual Switches
- Strong experience in Hypervisor and Virtual Machine Storage
- Strong experience in SAN and NAS administration
- Strong experience managing a Windows environment, including but not limited to Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Experience with modifying Powershell scripts for administration and automation.
- Experience with VMware Operations Manager, LogInsight, Subject Matter Expert with either Active Directory, Exchange, VMWare, SharePoint, or other complex Windows applications
- Must be comfortable working both independently and with a team in a fast-moving environment.
- US citizenship and eligible for L clearance
