We are seeking Line Cooks to help support our purpose-driven company, one hand-crafted sandwich at a time. Our restaurant puts community and culture over profit, the health of the planet and our bodies over profit, and the revitalization of the local economy over sending our dollars elsewhere. KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Have a passion for food + an attention to detail

Have a commitment to quality service and food + beverage knowledge

Be able to lift at least 20 pounds regularly and frequently reach, crouch, squat + bend

Be able to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours or as needed

Be able to work in a team environment + be willing to take direction

Be able to work in warm and cool environments

Be able to handle a knife confidently

Be able to tolerate potential allergens, including tree nut, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, + shellfish

Prior food prep/food service experience a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop knowledge of all ingredients + menu items

Use kitchen machinery including slicers, flat tops, ovens, food processors, + blenders properly, complying with safety standards

Engage guests positively

Prepare menu items consistently, quickly, + accurately

Effectively handle guest complaints or issues

Maintain personal hygiene standards, including a clean uniform

Comply with health + safety standards for food, cleanliness, + safety of the restaurant

Perform additional responsibilities (as requested by shop leadership) at any time

Hours will be 7:30AM-1:30PM, 25+ hours/week, including weekends; hours are subject to change. Punctuality and reliability a must!
