This position is responsible for the planning, organizing and implementation of complex Integrated Operations projects designed to reduce cost, improve efficiency or increase interoperability with existing Bell systems and processes and future planned enhancements.Responsibilities:Accountable for project scope management, documentation, status reporting, and work planning.

Tracks and controls project issues and initiates corrective action.

Provides coordination for a multidisciplinary/multi-cultural team, provides guidance, assists in issue resolution and provides direction to team in terms of conflicting priorities.

Demonstrates proactive, effective communication skills including excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Evaluates overall schedules and budgets, updates project plans, and monitors and controls project execution.

Assesses and mitigates risk associated with project plans, implementation and steady-state support.

Provides verbal and written status reports, manages meetings, and facilitates requirements, problem-solving.

Coordinates activities necessary to accomplish the expected outcomes of the assigned projects.

Demonstrates effective negotiation skills with team members, clients, vendors, and management.

Facilitates teamwork, including definition of roles and responsibilities, assessment of required skill mix, acquisition of appropriate resources to successfully complete assigned projects.

Conducts meetings with all levels of staff and management to address and resolve issues and procedures associated with information system installations and support.

Responsible for effective use of project management concepts, tools and process improvement techniques.

Demonstrates excellent business skills and works effectively to build relationships with user departments, management, and vendors.

Provides onsite training and interpretation of Bell engineering drawings, standards, methods and processes.

Assist in developing Aerospace Supply Chain capabilities at chosen suppliers.

QualificationsEducation Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field

Position Requirements:At least 10 years of related professional experience in aerospace or defense industry with at least 5 years’ experience of direct project management managing complex projects including all costs and risks.

Experience with business case development for strategic pursuits

Experience with creating and executing cross-functional and inter-disciplinary project plans

High level of analytical skills sets using MS Excel.

Ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity, and to adapt to changing circumstances

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly how teams and organizations operate, including their formal and informal processes

Excellent interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented and persistent

Excellent communications skills using a variety of channels (written, visual, verbal, etc.) including creativity in using and developing communication tactics

Comfortable working and communicating at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership team

Demonstrated ability to think strategically

Able to travel up to 10% for business needs
