Apply today for our Member Relations position!The Member Relations Director will establish and maintain professional business relationships with the Members of Sunflower Electric Power Corporation (Sunflower). This individual will develop, implement and recommend changes to services and solutions in support of the key accounts program made available to Members to enhance satisfaction and relationships. They will coordinate with internal staff, Member cooperatives’ staff, and other stakeholders, as needed, to deliver high quality services. Candidates may choose to work from our Hays, Great Bend, or Garden City office. Opportunities:

You'll have the opportunity to manage corporate projects while working with Members and various Sunflower teams.

Top Qualifications:

Must become a Certified Key Account Executive within three years of employment.

Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, business, engineering, organizational leadership, or related field, and four years’ experience, in the area of customer service, member services, account management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preference given to electric utility experience in the areas listed above.

Able to obtain a strong working knowledge of the individual Members and how each Member operates their cooperative.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in written and verbal format, needed to communicate with and guide diverse types of people, such as Members, stakeholders, and end-users.

Able to obtain a strong working knowledge of process and/or project management skills and abilities.
