Job DescriptionLead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. One of our major goals is to build hundreds of regions world-wide with different form factors. As part of that journey, we are forming a new team to create a next generation Operating Systems for Cloud Regions, that will build, deploy, manage, operate cloud regions with unmatched scale, speed and simplicity.In this role, you will be responsible for conceiving and developing new products and features in the cloud computing space. As a product manager, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications, suggest, and justify product direction. You will develop new concepts and definition and synthesis of business requirements from internal and external stakeholders, write product specifications and drive project milestones from design to release. Other responsibilities include competitive analysis, building competitive tests on different clouds, presenting demos to customers, creating technical content and blogs for OCI. You will work closely with engineering to build solutions that resolve customer needs. The successful candidate will have a passion for solving difficult problems in a collaborative, agile work environment, a knack for creativity and innovative thinking, and a strong sense of empathy for both customers and engineering teams.Key Responsibilities:· Identify, define, and prioritize products and features· Drive product strategy and direction that translates into high value customer features· Represent product roadmap and strategy to internal and external stakeholders· Work directly with key customers to understand their requirements and devise creative solutions to their problems· Write product definitions and user stories as an input to product design· Present to customers and partners, write blogs, build proof of concepts on top of our products, create reference architectures for product features, resolve customer issues.· Define, measure, and manage customer experience and business performance goals· Be an advocate for the customer through the product lifecycle· Hands on Knowledge of working with Developer Tools, CI/CD, IDEsMinimum Qualifications· BE in Computer Engineering or related discipline· 4+ years development experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, Go, Typescript· 7+ years of relevant product management experience working closely with customers and with engineers to build products· Knowledge of Cloud Concepts and DevOps.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence others· Ability to define and shape the business strategy· Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously· Experience building product roadmaps, project/release plans with a strong understanding of dependency management· Strong experience driving the full product lifecycle, including defining and hitting success metrics, in a startup like atmospherePreferred Qualifications· MBA or MS in a technical field· Experience in developing enterprise cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, Etc.)About UsDiversity and Inclusion:An Oracle career can span industries, roles, Countries and cultures, giving you the opportunity to flourish in new roles and innovate, while blending work life in.
