The Sr Designer will be responsible for creating, editing, enhancing and revising design across a variety of web/digital platforms, such as T-Mobile's social channels, T-Mobile-owned websites, partner websites, e-mails, T-Mobile-owned apps, and digital display. Projects may range from merchandising efforts to marketing campaigns and digital micro-experiences. On occasion, they may review, edit, and assist in providing feedback on digital design, ensuring that our creative messaging aligns with T-Mobile's digital & brand style guidelines. They will work directly with our digital copywriting team and other visual designers, plus marketing/merchandising/advertising teams, project managers, and other digital team members. This role will understand the intersections between development, UX, content strategy, and design and strive for a better way deliver the best digital customer experience.

Minimum Required:

6+ years of web/social/display/digital design experience in an agency or corporate environment with formal design training and a strong portfolio.

Thrives in a collaborative, ever-changing, and fast-paced environment.

Excellent at prioritizing multiple assignments, especially as it pertains to feedback delivery.

Strong collaboration and communication skills including the receiving, giving, and implementing of feedback.

Strong attention to detail and timeliness

Experience with A/B testing or sequential advertising strategies, and the ability to optimize creative performance based on data, results, and KPIs.

Desired:

An understanding of digital design principles, current design trends, and industry best practices.

An understanding of the capabilities and constraints of web technologies (HTML, style sheets, etc.)

Experience with a DCO (Digital Creative Optimization) program to develop creative variants for testing purposes.

Technical Skills:

Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Microsoft Outlook - Expert Level (required)

Adobe Creative Suite (required)

AEM or another Content Management System (preferred)

Sketch, Principle, Flinto, or other prototyping software (required)

Coding languages such as HTML/CSS, Javascript (preferred)

Opal or other social platform experience (preferred)

Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership.

Design and edit web, social, marketing, and merchandising creative for complex/high-profile projects that meets brief requirements, including quick-turn creative requests. Abide by our team processes and best practices; including file naming, folder maintenance, and handoff, while maintaining tasks and agendas autonomously.

Present creative to DCS team leads, business partners, stakeholders, and creative leadership during creative reviews, communicating best practices for design and reasoning behind creative decisions. Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure design is on brand and in line with expectations.

Guide, coach, and mentor junior team members, assist in providing feedback on lower priority/less complex projects, help with onboarding, and act as a SME on projects and campaigns.

Collaborate with, and assist in leading, copywriters and other members of the DCS team to develop creative concepts and content strategy for projects.

Contribute to, and assist in leading, the creation and evolution of T-Mobile design resources and tools, such as style guides, onboarding manuals, and templates, in addition to brand guidelines.

Owns, organizes, and leads meetings with key business partners to ensure successful relationships with cross-functional teams.

Collaborate with internal teams and senior leadership to continuously evolve our process and resources.

Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
