Software Engineer

A highly respected Midwest Corporation is looking for a Software Engineer to be responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of business specific software in accordance with Design standards, Design Patterns and scalable across the corporate enterprise.The successful candidate will work in a team environment and be familiar with the latest software development patterns.

• At least 5 years’ experience in developing applications using C# with .NET Framework v5 or higher, Entity Framework Core, Razor Pages, LINQ queries, REST API, IIS, WinForms, Windows Services.
• Strong SQL Server developer skills: Understanding SQL Server and SQL server programming such as but not limited to stored procedures, user defined functions, tables, indexes (and their types), views.
• Previocurrent experience with multi-threading, asynchronous development.
• Attention to detail and maintaining high quality standards is a must.
• Well versed with object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Advanced Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) or five or more years of work experience.

• Experience with SQL Server SSRS.
• Experience with Git or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Agile Development methodologies is a plus.
• Knowledgeable on industry ETL technologies.

• Must be a self-starter and team player.
• A willingness to develop industry-related knowledge.
• Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, organizational and leadership skills.
