Job Description

Summary:

Performs Journal Entries, Financial Statement Review, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities for the business unit. Assist Controller with managing the company’s financial plans and policies, its accounting practices, the conduct of its relationships with financial institutions, and the maintenance and preparation of financial records. This position will be based out of theOlathe, Kansas office.

Core Responsibilities:

Perform cash posting for accounts receivables and the recording and collection of customer invoices to ensure prompt processing and payment. Manage collection of delinquent accounts with appropriate action if necessary. Perform accounts payable to ensure processing and payments of invoices are done in a timely fashion and per payment agreement. Manages T&E card and P-card programs and the associated journal entries. Manages sales tax compliance. Manages fixed asset maintenance Assists with preparation of statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues for annual plan and fore-casting. Prepares various monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports and supporting documentation. Prepares month end journal entries and monthly account reconciliations. Enters financial results in business system. Participate in internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls. Oversees physical inventory processes and associated inventory reporting requirements along with Operations. Assists Controller with financial reports, forecasts, analysis, control procedures, tax planning, compliance require-ments, and other projects as assigned. Maintain training to follow applicable procedures, rules, and regulations. Ensure proper filing and storage of financial records. Understands and applies ITW Financial policies. Professionally represent company. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent from four-year accredited university/college and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Working experience with accounting software to include database management. Microsoft NAV experience a plus.
