SummaryThe Oracle Application Developer is responsible for the development, support, and maintenance of the Oracle eBusiness Applications Environment (version 12 including AR, GL, AP, PO, OE, and inventory). This includes support of Oracle Application users and their daily activities, as well as general troubleshooting, data fixes, new release/patch acceptance testing and deployment, query and report creation, and service request creation with Oracle, troubleshooting, and light Oracle DBA tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain all Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) modules and integration.
• Perform detailed design of complex applications in EBS by troubleshooting and customizing technical architecture components.
• Develop technical specifications and support customizations to make sure that the custom components meet application requirements and performance goals.
• Analyze business and functional requirements to determine appropriate functional and technical solutions.
• Primarily responsible for the functional and technical design of all Oracle EBS reports, Interfaces, conversions, extensions, and workflow objects and components within Oracle EBS, related to modules including Financials, Purchasing, Payables, Receivables, and Inventory.
• Assist in the development of user support documentation including user guides and training materials, as well as assisting key users and stakeholders with daily ERP functions.
• Participate in testing to identify and fix defects and performance problems.
• Conduct complete technical reviews, support code migration, and provide technical artifacts.
• Provide problem analysis, diagnosis, and resolution, as well as implementation and post-implementation support.
• Coordinate with the Oracle Applications DBA and others from the IS Applications & Operations Support Team.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience with Oracle applications 11/12 (AR, PO, BOM, GL, AP, OM, FA).
• Proficiency in the Oracle Application Framework (OAF), SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Forms, reports, BI (XML) Publisher, SQLLoader, and Unix/Linux Shell Scripting.
• SQLLoader experience and in-depth knowledge of Oracle Applications interface tables and API.
• Knowledge of Oracle BPEL, Oracle PL/SQL, Toad, and SOA.
• Knowledge of basic Oracle DBA tasks and Linux shell scripting.
• Experience with Linux development environments and SDLC DevOps processes.
