Job Description

Woofs Stay & Play is now hiring a responsible, driven,team-orientedpart-time Manager. You will be responsible forworkingcollaborativelywith the General Managerto ensurethe success of your individualteamby serving as Manager on Duty (MOD)betweenmanagement teamshifts.You will provide leadership to ouranimal-lovingteam members;ensurea safe and clean environment for our pups & parents;runan operationally efficient and effectiveday-to-day business caring forour two and four-legged friends;andultimatelydrivesales and profitabilityby achieving capacity and sales goals.

Job Responsibilities&Duties for Part-timeWoof's Managers

Employee Management 

  • EnsuresTeam Members arefollowingemployee policies,meetingperformance expectations,appropriately interacting with animals,andperformingcleaningduties
  • Providespositive or constructive feedback to employeestocreateand maintaina supportive work environment
  • Provides input to the GM forthePerformance Counseling Processto coach and develop staff members who are not meeting expectations

Drive Sales&Profitability

  • Fosters culture that empowers team memberstodevelop ownership in the success or failure of the businessandpersonallyinvest in the goals of the business
  • Commits to increasing salesby consistently converting leads into customers
  • Buildsa relationshipand sells values of our serviceswithParentsthrough initial introduction, facilitytours, andtheWoof’s Meet&GreetProcess
  • Ensures all team members actively sell new packages and services
  • Manages front desk operations and fills in for all positions as needed

Facility Management

  • HoldsTeam Members accountable to Woof’s cleaning standards by ensuring proper checklists are used andverifyingall duties are complete
  • Assignsadditional cleaning tasksproactivelyto ensure high-level of sanitation andanodor-free environment
  • Providescontinuous training on safePuphandling andgeneralworkplace safety
  • Performsthorough reviews of allPupincidents to provide constructive feedback, additional training, anddevelop ability torespectfullyaddressdifficultclient conversations
  • Provides input on the dismissal of Pups with ongoing behavior issuesand uses each dismissal as a training opportunity
  • Maintainsand regularly reviewsdetails records ofhealth and behavior

Business Management

  • Overseesclosing proceduresandbalancing cashwhen MOD on closing shift

Qualifications

Requirements for Part-timeWoof's Managers

  • Previous experience working in pet care
  • Ability to open the building at 6:30 am or stay as late as 8:30 pm
  • Ability tolift upto 40poundsand complete such tasks asmovingplayroom equipment andextra-large home-style crates
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, bend repetitively, and use cleaning products to disinfect and sanitize
  • Ability to move quickly throughout the building while maintaining composure and keeping asmileon your face!
  • Availabilityto work occasional weekends and holiday
  • Reliable transportation
