Our exciting, innovative client has an immediate opportunity for an experienced System Engineer in Burlington, Kansas. This is a 9-month contract with the possibility to extend and/or hire on. You will work with executive team members, decision-makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals and to identify and resolve business systems issues.

Responsibilities of the System Engineer:

- Provide and apply advanced technical strategies in administering, maintaining, and implementing physical and virtual servers, operating systems, enterprise storage, and supporting infrastructure.

- Analyze and resolve system hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user training where required.

- Provide technical consultation for enterprise and application project teams.

- Identify and clarify strategy, address gaps, define and execute related policy/procedures.

Qualifications of the System Engineer:

- Experience with SCCM Administration (create/edit/manage SCCM collections, task sequences, and policies)

- Experience with SCCM Software Applications in an enterprise environment (create/edit/manage applications, packages, updates)

- Experience with desktop O/S management including Windows 10 upgrades and administration via SCCM and tools

- Working knowledge of AD

- Experience with PowerShell and automation

- BA Degree

- 4-5 years of experience as a System Administrator
