IowaApplyDescriptionAbout the PositionAnswers patient, clinic, insurance company and other third-party calls and schedules appointments for various primary care clinic locations.Directs calls or submits electronic tasks to specific clinic team, and processes payment requests for electronic credit card and ACH payments. Performs duties relating to posting manual/electronic payments and denials received by the organization into the accounts receivable system.Possess the ability to handle the re-submission, re-posting, and transferring of data ques. Receives requests for patient medical records on behalf of The Iowa Clinic and accurately documents and keeps in the disclosure log what records were sent, to whom and when. Electronically receives sorts and transfers data into patient electronic medical record. Scans paper medical records and transfers data into electronic medical records.This position will be Monday - Friday around business hours of 8 AM - 5 PM at The Iowa Clinic Billing Office located in West Des Moines.
