Like to take cars apart, Seeking Dismantler $13-20.00 plus per hour.

North End Wrecking Inc is a late model salvage yard located in Dubuque Iowa that dismantles cars and trucks for parts and we are currently taking for applicants to fill an automotive dismantling position.

This is full time position (8am-5pm Monday-Friday). Starting pay will be $13.00 - $20.00 plus per hour based on knowledge and previous work experience. This is a commission based pay position so, there for twenty plus dollars per hour is not out of reach. Our fast pace well established family owned recycling facility will keep you busy year round.

Responsibilities included, but not limited to testing components of the vehicles such as:

- Test Engine compression.

- Test Transmissions/Transfer Cases/Differentials.

- Dismantle suspension.

- Remove drive train components.

- Remove differential covers and inspect gears.

- Maintain work area.

The type of person we are looking for is as follows:

1) Reliable, on time and ready for work every day.

2) Honest and a good communicator, we like to work together as a team.

3) Works well in a team environment and has the ability to work independently.

4) One that pays attention to details.

5) Able to accept direction verbal as well as written.

6) Able to adapt to change or procedures (quick learner).

7) Able to lift up to 50lbs, and maneuverable up to 150lbs.

Requirements for this job:

1) Applicants must be dependable, supply their own tools and have automotive knowledge.

2) Dependable transportation to work.

Hours of work would be 8am to 5:00pm Monday thru Friday.
