We are working with a growing client in need of a Data guru - If you have the knowledge and/or skills within SQL, Data, Reporting and looking to grow with an elite colleague who is ready to knowledge drop, then this opportunity can be for you! Do you take databases very serious, believe in data integrity, and like clear and simple data? If you like to deep dive into data, reconcile across different transactions, then this full-time opportunity can be for you. You will need a strong command of query writing, stored procedures, and relational databases. If so, you might be right for Robert Half Technology's new SQL Data Reporting Developer role. What are some responsibilities:

Reviewing query performance and optimizing code - Writing queries used for front-end applications - Designing and coding database tables to store the application's data - Data modeling to visualize database structure - Working with application developers to create optimized queries - Creating database triggers for automation, e.g., automatic email notifications - Creating table indexes to improve database performance - Programming views, stored procedures, and functions - Maintaining and modifying Excel reports using VBA - Develop Power Pivot as and when required - Reconciling all transactions - Resolving any reconciliation difference and any other database alerts related to data including working directly with users when needed.

Requirements

- Familiarity with query coding and relational databases

- 3+ years working as a Database Developer or a related role

- Understanding and know-how to fix potential issues, and background with industry standards for database operations

- Microsoft SQL experience desired

- Power Pivot experience preferred

- Strong familiarity with Excel VBA

- Data modeling experience
