This Senior Project Manager position will join an existing team to work onsite with a local client. This long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity is 100% remote. We are seeking candidates to manage key projects as part of our client's strategic business plan as their Senior Project Manager. You'll do well in this job if you can serve as a key member of the team by ensuring that changes are delivered to the expectations of stakeholders. The chosen candidate will also need to be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. Your responsibilities

• Create project plan, resource estimation, scope management, driving requirement gathering sessions.

• Establishes coordinated high-level schedule for Support Transformation project components, monitors and controls schedule and dependencies for program components.

• Track and report project status to the VP-level project sponsors, managing risks and escalating any issues.

• Responsible for identifying and tracking "quick wins" and driving prioritization based on effort / time to reward / savings benefits.

• Responsible for project governance and steering committee meetings with senior leaders on project status.

• Knowledge and experience managing transition of support duties between various teams and groups as well as to and from external vendors or offshore teams.

• Provide inputs to the assigned Program Manager to ensure a comprehensive project plan developed and buy-in from key stakeholders.

• Defining clear entry and exit criteria for each phase of the project.

• Work with various vendors for the project to hold them accountable and provide deliverables on time.

• Continuing to improve project management processes and practices.

• Working effectively, in a matrixed and virtual environment with a variety of business partners and stakeholders, across global time zones, while promoting consistent project management standards.

• Working on multiple projects / tasks at one time.

• Working as part of a global team and thinking globally, while maintaining international, cultural, and time zone sensitivities and awareness.

• High degree of personal accountability and responsibility, focusing on quality and timeliness of project deliverables.

• Collaborative with peers and colleagues, in an organized and proactive manner, to drive involvement and engagement.

Requirements

- A Project Management (PMP) certification is strongly preferred

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience

- We are particularly looking for candidates with proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools

- Ability to meet deadlines

- Can work independently with minimal supervision

- Prior success in project management, supervisory leadership, and operational management

- Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skill sets

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues

- This position will be the best fit for a candidate with experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs

- Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions

- You'll do well at this position if you are familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies

- Comprehensive knowledge of navigating basic office equipment and protocols
