Are you an entrepreneur with a vendor mentality who can understand strategies/roadmaps and match to potential partners, to best conduct GTM/business model fit analysis for potential partnerships?If buying products from vendors to complete our best-in-class products, to increase revenue is exciting to you, please keep reading!Overview of PositionChange Healthcare’s Corporate Development Business Development team is seeking an individual to lead and support the identification and qualification of strategic partnership opportunities as well as the preparation and execution of related partner (value-added reseller, VAR) agreements with complementary third-party technology vendors or services providers.You will support and enable internal leaders’ inorganic strategy or initiatives (partner or buy) to achieve market and customer needs into the future, with knowledge about the past, while leveraging information about the unmet or underserved needs of the present. You will keep track of innovation both within and outside of healthcare, and within and outside of Change Healthcare.You will sense and understand the future direction of the industry and organization-with some awareness of current gaps, challenges or obstacles-to help identify and convert “partner” or “buy” opportunities to achieve maximum customer adoption, customer satisfaction / experience and company revenue growth.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?This role is primarily in support of the Corporate Development Business Development VPs. Most of the outputs in this role are in the form of understanding and translating requirements, documenting, and executing decisions and objectives established by the Corporate Development Business Development leaders and Business Unit leaders. This position will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and executing deals.Opportunity Identification: Proactively identifies and qualifies emerging trends, market opportunities and the competitive landscape in areas of high interest to corporate strategy or key internal customers’ (Presidents, GMs and Product Owners) driven by their roadmap “partner” or “buy” priorities. Supports the identification, business case development, selection, contracting and go-to-market (GTM) launch of Corporate Development opportunities (strategic reseller / referral partnership, integrated offerings joint development and M&A).

Opportunity Evaluation: Evaluates partnership leads and opportunities. Collaborates with internal resources and navigates internal processes, engages senior stakeholders, co-leads function and technical “fit” assessment to stated requirements or company standards, co-develops and co-presents opportunity analysis (TAM analysis, business case cost / benefit, value alignment, proforma modeling, , etc.), drives “go” or “no go” decisions and leads deal contracting efforts. Prepares internal communications to include deal memos, financial analysis, and status updates.

Opportunity Execution: Plays a central role in coordinating the execution of partnership agreements and other strategic relationships, including contracting, due diligence, and integration/GTM planning. Develops best practices and makes recommendations to optimize processes to improve execution, accelerates contracting time, eliminates non-value-added work, and supports fail-fast objectives. Ensures proper use of department tools (CRM, dashboards, MS-Teams, etc.). Prepares department level communications and deal / opportunity status reports.

What are the requirements needed for this position?Minimum 5 years’ experience working in healthcare technology or enterprise software vendors in partner business development functions (where your employer was the buyer of products from a third party), with product integration dependencies, that coordinates across Product

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Technology required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, etc.) strongly preferred

Management, Product Development, Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Support Operations, Implementations, Legal, Contracting / Procurement Operations

Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders in product, business, operations, and technology functions to evaluate, contract and launch new “white label” reseller or integrated offering solutions

Healthcare technology “ecosystem” awareness or expertise

Healthcare subject matter knowledge (clinical, financial, administrative) in healthcare technology (specifically payer, provider, patient / consumer)

Advanced analytical capability, including financial and operational modeling and proficiency with MS Excel

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?Demonstrated success working in large, fast paced, matrix organized technology vendors or service providers

Track record of identifying, leading, negotiating and closing large (+$1M average annual revenue), complex reseller or integrated offering technology deals

Market sizing and capability (feature / function) analysis skills

Financial analysis and modeling skills

Strong knowledge of technology vendor reseller contracting business models and best practices

Superb relationship building and communication / presentation skills

Excellent deal lifecycle management and project management skills

Salesforce.com user skills and experience

MS Office expertise (specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
