Janitorial Project Support

This position requires full vaccination against COVID-19 as a condition of employment, subject to a valid medical or religious exemption. Project Janitor Do you have experience with all areas of janitorial work? Do you like the variety of working on different projects for multiple customers? If yes, then we want to hear from you! As a Project Janitor with Kimco Facility Services, you are important to our success. You take pride in your work, are reliable, and can work whether our customer locations are open or closed. You'll be responsible for the cleanliness of multiple premium and highly visible locations. We will count on you to communicate professionally with the public and other Kimco Facility Services employees. Pay rate: $18 per hour Days & Times: Schedule is planned by Area Manager, will discuss during interview. Total of 30+ hours each week: Criminal History check, drug screen, and e-Verify required Valid driver's license required. Motor Vehicle Report required Company Vehicle Provided Essential Duties: Road Warrior, territory is most of Eastern Iowa.

Maintain safety procedures by handling cleaning equipment and supplies according to company protocols

Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming

Gather and empty trash and replace trash bags

Clean and stock restrooms, breakrooms, and other areas

Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment

Polish windows and other surfaces

Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after operating hours and other duties as outlined in the scope of work

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Ability to bend, stoop, stand, walk, reach, and climb for extended periods of time Ability to lift 30 lbs. on a continuous basis and occasionally up to 50 lbs. unassisted Use timekeeping system to document hours worked per day At least 2 years (we'd love more!) of janitorial experience preferred. Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record is required to operate company vehicles to and from customer work sites. Resourceful team player with a positive outlook. Why Kimco?
