All hiring, training and call taking will be done remotely. Please note that applicants must be local to Peoria, IL. Customer Care Professionals will handle inbound call inquiries regarding new product applications from prospect and existing card members. You will use discovery questions to best fit new product to customer needs. You will also position value proposition of products in order to drive engagement and future spending. You will field inquiries from a variety of channels.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Associate’s degree in business administration or marketing preferred
  • 6-months prior sales experience preferred
  • Prior customer service experience, in a sales environment (1 year minimum)
  • No employment termination in previous work experience
  • Preferred experience in a call center environment
  • Excellent written and spoken ability in the English language
  • Demonstrated skills in simultaneously speaking, listening, and typing
  • Ability to define goals and program measurements
  • Positive, confident, and outgoing attitude
  • Proficient use of PCs
  • Strong listening/comprehension skills
  • Strong flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to deal with change on a regular basis
  • Effective time management
  • Punctual and dependable, with ability to work evening and/or weekend shifts
  • Experience in a fast paced environment
  • Must possess superior interpersonal skills to create instant rapport
  • Ability to understand the true needs communicated by customers via phone and to clarify with questions or statements as necessary to gain a clear understanding of these needs
